It is with great pleasure and pride that I present to you my first ever Best Of List. This list took a lot of time to compile. I have literally tested hundreds of products in the past year. This is my list of the standouts that I have reviewed. I know its long but I tried to keep the descriptions short and to the point. If you want more detailed information on a particular product there is more than likely a full review of it available, by me. If not, that means it is currently in my queue and it will be published very soon. I genuinely hope that you find this Best of List helpful. Please feel free to comment about it on this thread and let me know what you think, even if you disagree with a choice or two. I would love to hear your feedback. Thanks for reading, thanks for being a member of this forum and making it the great place that it is growing into. Hope you all have a fantastic 2018. Without any further ado, here is my Best Of 2017, enjoy. https://www.vapinginsider.com/vaping-insider-awards-2017/ Happy New Year! DeucesJack
Wow, what a task that must have been to put together, thanks for all the 2017 reviews Jack, they are truly appreciated, HAPPY NEW YEAR
Excellent job DJ. The reviewers here on VI are the best I've seen. . However as a vaper with over 100 mech mods, I can't recommend any of the mechs listed, and I own 2 of the 3. I underastand you gotta work with what you've got, but those are mods I would avoid. There is much much better gear available.
Thanks Everyone. Appreciate that. @Bad Ninja I'll be the first to admit, out of all the categories I probably received the least amount of stuff in the Mech category. So you are right, I had a limited amount of product to work with. If I had to critique my own list, I would agree that it is the weakest part of the list. The other problem with the higher end Mech mods is that most of the manufacturers do not send that stuff out for review. A lot of them see their pieces as works of art and they just do not send them out unless they are paid for. That's kool, everyone has the right to run their business as they see fit. I actually understand the way they feel from a liability and craftsmanship stand point. It just sucks for me because I don't get a lot of mechs. TBH, I'm really not a Mech guy anyway. So its all good. I have so much stuff to test in the other categories that its not really an issue for me. I do hope in 2018 that I wind up getting more mechs and I am able to come up with a more comprehensive list at the end of the year. As far as all the other categories go, I think its pretty comprehensive but then again, I might be a little biased. Lol. The one thing that sucks about a list like this is the time it takes to compile. Not only do you want the list to be accurate but you want your opinion from the previous year to be consistent as well. So, you have to go back and look at all your reviews and categorize stuff appropriately. I actually started working on this list in late October. Because of the time it takes I actually have a few products that would have actually made the list but they did not because of time constraints and the timing of the lists creation. If I did not have enough time with the device, I did not put it on the list. I did make a few last minute additions but not as many as I would have liked to. That's ok because I would rather be safe than sorry. I just did not have enough time with some of those products to feel comfortable enough to add them to the list. Unfortunately, there has to be a cut off point somewhere. One mod that comes to mind is the Smok Mag. Just from a form factor stand point, I have not been able to put that mod down but when I received it, the list was already complete. Really looking forward to 2018. I have some really big plans for the next year so stay tuned. Thanks for reading and thanks for your support.
Going to have to start calling you the Professor because that was a lesson on how it's done.......Just excellent brother!
@Deucesjack I understand and agree 100% I know many authentic modders dont even understand the concept of wholesaling, which is another reason why mechs are a hit-and-run item and the modders stay smalltime. "Tripping over dollars to pick up pennies".
Thx @Anthony_Vapes and @Mjag. Professor Deuces, that's not bad. Lmao. One other point about the list. It's not a 1, 2, 3, list. The picks are not necessarily in order. Also, some stuff may have come out in 2016 but I went with the time frame I reviewed it in, not necessarily the release date. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
