I use a unicorn bottle to vacuum the juice out of atomizers and wicks when I want to clean or rejuice, so I end up with this mixed flavor juice that tastes like something totally unrelated to the original juices.

If I'm switching flavor profiles that are radically different, I vape my RDA or tanks clear with an unflavored base. I also do this if I'm going to be setting a tank or RDA aside for more than a day or two.

I completely disassembled my Lost Vape Triade DNA250 to clean it today.

All went well save dropping the screw found on the foot of the unit. Can't for the life of me find it. Grr...

The Triade could really use a seal under the 510 triangle.

You could try using a syringe with a blunt nose needle to draw out all the juice and then replace it after wicking. Rinse the syringe several times and your flavors won't mix.

Quite a few times I have had a brain fart and top up a tank with a different juice. Every single time I've enjoyed the result. Go figure.

My recent brain farts: 1) using an old battery and thinking "this single battery squonker sucks"; 2) not shutting off juice flow and thinking "this ammit leaks like a baby". Not it just seeps but not enough to bother me.

Is it easier to take apart than the Therion?

It looks to be, but I haven't done that yet.

I’m so pleased with my Kennedy 25mm 2-post that all my other atomizers have (for the most part) fallen to the wayside.

I love the design, the build, the deck, the vape...for me, it is just perfect. It’s not cheap, but when something delivers the vape you have been looking for, it seems so so worth it.

Now a part of me wants a couple more for alternate rotation, backups, and otherwise.

Perhaps because the Kennedy has been on the market for as long as it has, it doesn’t get much talk, or perhaps the price puts people off in a world of inexpensive new atmomizers.

I’ve never been the kind of person to be a fanboy about anything. Everything always has some downside, and I’m just not given to online expression of adulation for a product, no matter how much I might like it. That said, I can recommend the Kennedy without reservation...it really has been that good for me.

    Cheers,
    Ian

Every time I sweep my office, I run a pen magnet through the pile. Most of the time I just pick up pieces of clipped lead wire, but occasionally I'll retrieve the lost grub. :emoji_wink:

Wrapped some coils that were different from my norm. Spent a couple hours and they all sucked. Vaped production was low on all of them no matter what watts I tried. So I said screw it and made my first purchase at advanced vape supply for premades.

What kind of coils did you try making? AVS is great for SS stuff.

Just added wraps to my normal claptons so I wouldn't have to bend the leads into the deck posts. Vape was bad on that so I wrapped my clapton wire parallel to some 26g so it'd ramp up faster. That didn't work either. So I said screw clapton and made a big 26g standard coil which didn't satisfy me either. Then I got mad and ordered 316ss fused claptons, 3mm, 7 wrap from AVS. Lol

Edit: oops forgot wire specs. The ones I ordered are 28gx2/40g

When I got my first mod I bought 60 coils from AVS. Not one regret for doing so, their coils are very good. They cost about $1 per coil which is very good value for the money.

It's pretty nice not having to wrap coils. I got them yesterday and spent at least an hour trying to get them to fire evenly. Mostly due to the rdta deck I was using but they vape good. If I can ever let them cool down, I'll have to try TC.
