Everyone is filling this new house up. I need to get in on some of the action. So what is it? What's your favorite brand of cotton? Or do you use Rayon? Myself, I prefer Native Wicks Platinum Blend. Thoughts?

Up until a few months ago I just used regular puff pads from Amazon. Now I am partial to VCC cotton. Especially in my RDA's and RDTA's.

Cotton bacon for me love it no break in period, easy to use, no mucking about having to remove this or that top layer, bottom layer or having to cut to this or that size

Tear a bit off, stretch it out, roll it up, Wack it it in the coil awesome :)

I'm partial to rayon, myself. I use Cellucotton rayon in everything here. I bought a 500' coil of it for around $13, and I figure it will probably last me a lifetime.

See I've always been wary of rayon is it easy to work with over cotton mark?

I find it easy to work with. The biggest difference between rayon and cotton in wicking is you need to make sure that the rayon is really snug inside the coils as rayon shrinks some when saturated instead of swelling like cotton does. Also, you don't need as much material in the wicking tails as you do with cotton since it pipes the juice better than cotton.

So far I've tried muji cotton, cotton balls, surgical cotton from CVS and some cotton out of an aspirin bottle. I have a hard time with all that. I'm gonna order some cotton bacon this payday and see if I can have good success with it.

    Another vote for Cotton Bacon!
I would love to try Rayon, but don't want to buy a huge box of it at Sally supply- need to find a hairdresser friend! I can almost sit on my hair, so I don't have too many of them!
I also have had luck with Walgreens Organic Cotton balls, seems to work very well, easy to get and cheap!

Used to use cotton bacon before I switched to native wicks. Been using it for about 6 months and glad I did.
