To the best of my knowledge the only negative about this is the voltage cutoff is too high.
I'm pretty sure they used the same board (with an update applied) that is in the dual 18650 version.
    It's somewhere between 3.4 and 3.5V.
That means while your batteries still have plenty of life that you would normally use, your mod is protecting you a bit too early.
So shorter batter life than what you could get at a lower cut-off.
Smoant is just being a bit more conservative here.
I suppose by not allowing your batteries to drain very far before the mod cuts off is certainly safer than allowing them to drain to an unstable range.

All other specs (other than size, wattage, and battery count naturally) seem to be the same.
Smoant website does not list this cutoff on their site.
This isn't that big of a deal on the dual battery version but for a single, that sure seems pretty early.

I have the kit, full review coming soon. It's basically half a Battlestar. It's a single 18650 mod. Overall impression is I like it so far. I may actually do a shootout between that mod and the Tesla Wye 85 watt. Stay tuned, but of course I'll always answer any questions that are forth coming.

You can not use Smok coils for TC. As far as I know all Smok coils are made of kanthal. You can use factory coils for TC if the coils are made with a material that is TC compatible. I use my Asvape Cobra SS coils in TC all of the time.
